MISSION STATEMENT: The Dignity Center welcomes and supports persons in poverty on their path to self-sufficiency.
The Dignity Center is open three mornings and one evening per week:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 – 11:30 AM
Thursday Evening 6:00 – 8:00 PM

Our program is founded on clients developing an ongoing and supportive relationship with one volunteer advocate. This working relationship ensures accountability and gives clients hope and encouragement along the way as they regain confidence and self-motivation.

The Dignity Center follows a unique, comprehensive model which supports clients on their path to self-sufficiency by setting goals in one or more of nine key focus areas:
  • Housing
  • Income/Financial Management
  • Employment
  • Health/Medical Needs
  • Education
  • Relationships
  • Civil Legal Issues
  • Criminal Issues
  • Substance Abuse

You may contact the Dignity Center at 612-435-1315, or by email at Dignity@haumc.org.
