The program previously known as the Center for Families since 2005 moved out of its location in North Minneapolis and moved into Brooklyn United Methodist Church, relaunching as West African Family & Community Services. This transition helps the program serve the West African immigrant community more closely.
West African Family & Community Services seeks to improve self-sufficiency for low-income West African immigrants by serving as a focal point for comprehensive immigrant family services. They help immigrants acquire the tools they need to support their families and contribute to the broader community.
